Celebrity Bartender Event Series

Watch your favorite local celebrities pour their hearts out! Zinda's "Celebrity Bartender Event Series" is a year-long event series created to raise awareness and funds for nonprofits making an impact in our community.
On the second Wednesday each month of 2013, 10 percent of bar proceeds from the evening will be donated to that month’s nonprofit partner. Celebrities and other local personalities will guest-bartend alongside Zinda bar staff.
The year will be capped off with a Celebrity Bartender Black Tie Gala in December; our chance to raise a toast to all of the amazing nonprofits involved in the event series.

Timeline: Doors at 5pm, Event at 6pm, Fundraising until 9pm
Cost: Free & Open to the public
Ages: All ages welcome, 21+ to drink

Caring Community Foundation's mission is to provide financial support to cancer patients in need by providing assistance with rent, utilities, treatment or other expenses that become difficult to manage during cancer treatment.
2013 Calendar of Events
January 9th: Hope for Haiti Foundation (HFHF)
HFHF believes in helping Haiti help Haiti. The foundation’s work impacts individual Haitians, consequently empowering them to act and change their own nation.
February 13th: ALS Association (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis)
ALS leads the fight to treat and cure ALS through global research and nationwide advocacy while also empowering people with Lou Gehrig’s Disease and their families to live fuller lives by providing them with compassionate care and support.
March 13th: Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
LLS's mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
April 10th: Raleigh City Farm
Raleigh City Farm works to transform unexpected urban spaces into beautiful and nourishing farmland.
May 8th: Caring Community Foundation
CCF provides financial support to cancer patients in need by providing assistance with rent, utilities, treatment or other expenses that become difficult to manage during cancer treatment.
June 12th: American Heart Association
AHA works to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
July 10th: Easter Seals UCP
Easter Seals UCP is a lifelong partner to families managing disabilities and mental health challenges.
August 14th: The Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic benefiting The V Foundation for Cancer Research
The V Foundation is dedicated to making a difference by generating broad-based support for cancer research and by creating an urgent awareness among all Americans of the importance of the war against cancer.
September 11th: Pretty in Pink Foundation
Pretty in Pink Foundation provides financial assistance to uninsured and underinsured breast cancer patients with quality, life-saving medical treatment regardless of their ability to pay.
October 9th: Tammy Lynn Center
TLC offers educational, residential, therapeutic, and family support services to nearly 400 children and adults with special needs.
November 13th: Band Together
Band Together raises funds for select Triangle nonprofits through events that showcase and support musical talent.
